Initially choosing from either Scott, Ramona, Kim Pine, or Stephen Stills, up to four players must fight their way through the streets of Toronto, Canada in seven levels. Each stage is made up of multiple sections, culminating in a battle at the end with one of Ramona’s exes. Around each stage there are many shops, some of them hidden, as well as destructible objects and weapons that can be picked up. The way characters progress and level up is similar to Castle Crashers and earlier levels can be revisited.
This subreddit is dedicated to all things Scott Pilgrim. Including the graphic novel series by Bryan Lee O’Malley, the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World by Edgar Wright starring Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, the side-scrolling beat ’em up video game by Ubisoft and anything else Scott Pilgrim. In their review of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game, IGN called Anamanaguchi’s soundtrack “possibly the best soundtrack on PS3”. AllMusic reviewer Heather Phares, giving it 4 out of 5 stars, said that Anamanaguchi “serve up hyperkinetic tracks that sound like they’ve been hiding on an NES cartridge for a quarter century”, and was impressed that the film production chose to “provide such a distinct aesthetic for a game’s music”.
Robertson’s work also makes two cameo appearances in the movie of the same name, as a 1-Up symbol that Michael Cera’s character nabs in a moment of need, and at the very end of the movie’s credits, in which an animated Scott Pilgrim beats up a ‘The End’ title card.

World game
It is a game where desolation, the harsh climate, and anomalies can kill players in a matter of seconds. Every step could be their last, and even rats in the sewers merge in a horrific mass of squirming death, seeking to consume the flesh of the nearest target until there’s nothing left. Nothing can be more unsettling than playing this game in the hardest difficulty.
A man in a blue jumpsuit walks through a ghost town, there’s no trace of life in there, only the occasional crack of rotten doorframes giving way after hundreds of years, and the heartbreaking sound of a baby soothing wheel spinning aimlessly over an empty crib: nothing but dust remains of its former occupant.
After the signing ceremony, José Perurena described his expectations: “By awarding our Games to one of the most forward-looking and dynamic cities in China, we have signalled our arrival as a major power in international sport.” Chengdu’s Mayor, Mr Luo Qiang, said: “Chengdu strongly appreciates the concept of the IWGA and believe that it is in line with Chengdu’s development philosophy. We are confident that, under the guidance of the IWGA and the support from the Chinese Olympic Committee and governments of all levels, Chengdu can offer the world a successful and excellent World Games, and a precious legacy both to Chengdu and The World Games.” Joachim Gossow agreed: “The flavour of The World Games fits the city.”
