Next game of the world series
Dodgers: The Dodgers used all their high-leverage relievers in Game 1, but they should be available again on Saturday. The question for L.A. will be whether or not Alex Vesia and Brusdar Graterol will be able to pitch on back-to-back nights given they’re both coming off injuries. https://titaniumphenomenon.com/fortune-or-trouble-or-what-happens-if-you-lose-your-wedding-ring/ L.A. has plenty of coverage, if needed, with Ben Casparius, Landon Knack and Brent Honeywell on the roster.
With left-hander Carlos Rodón starting on the mound for the Yankees, the Dodgers will have Miguel Rojas — added back to the roster on Friday after missing the NLCS to rest his torn adductor muscle — at shortstop, manager Dave Roberts said as well.
It will be the 12th time these teams have met in the World Series, the most of any two teams in the league. It’s also the first appearance in the Fall Classic for two previous MVP winners who are favored to win it again: the Yankees’ Aaron Judge and the Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani.
Back in 1988, the Dodgers rode that famous Kirk Gibson walk-off in Game 1 to a convincing 6-0 victory in Game 2, en route to a five-game Series win – still their most recent in a full season. Will history repeat itself, or will the Yankees respond?

Worldle is a game inspired by the popular Wordle game, only it tests your knowledge of geography. The rules of the game are similar to Wordle, but there are some differences: You have an unlimited number of guesses and you only have the distance / direction of the mystery country in the clues. This game is great for kids as an assistant in school or college, as well as for adults to remember the maps of countries around the world.
On February 1st we are also launching a separate mobile offer: PRO Mobile, which is only available on the Mobile Apps. At a lower price, starting from US$ 1.99/month with a yearly subscription, you get full access to the Apps with unlimited play but can’t play the web game. If you wish to upgrade your PRO subscription to also include web, later on, you can do that in your account settings in the App.
There are more than 200 countries all over the world, and of course you know many of them. What about country shapes? Surely you remember the outlines of your homeland. But do you remember their outlines of other countries? 🙂 In Worldle Unlimited game, your task is to guess the outlines of a hidden country using hints (without which it will be difficult to do this).
Game world series 2011 6
My marching orders the night of Game 6 were outlined before Jaime García threw the first pitch: I was to cover the Pujols angle. Free agency was looming for the franchise first baseman, meaning a Rangers win in Game 6 had the potential to make this Pujols’ final game for the Cardinals. That was to be my story that night.
I still penned a story about Pujols that night, just not the one I expected. His one-out double in the ninth inning sparked the rally that would make Freese a legend. Afterward, Pujols told reporters that he never let his mind wander to the possibility that this could have been the end. The rest of us couldn’t say the same.
It was a chilly and rainy day in the metroplex. Perfect for what was to come. Physically, I was at school from eight-to-four. Mentally, I was elsewhere. How could I have focused on anything school related when my favorite team was 27-outs away from being World Champions?
Happy 12-year anniversary of the David Freese game! As for this year’s World Series, the opener between the Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks is set for Friday evening on FOX 2. First pitch is scheduled for around 7 p.m. CT.

World series 2 game score
Yamamoto left his June 15 start after only two innings and was placed on the injured list the next day with a strained rotator cuff in his right shoulder He was transferred to the 60–day injured list in July 13. Yamamoto was activated off the injured list on September 10. In 18 starts for the Dodgers in 2024, he was 7–2 with a 3.00 ERA and 105 strikeouts. He made his playoff debut on October 8, in Game 1 of the National League Division Series, giving up five runs to the Padres in three innings. In his second start of the series, on October 12, he picked up his first postseason win, striking out two and allowed just two hits in five scoreless innings, retiring the last seven batters he faced, as the Dodgers won the series. He then made one start, in Game 4, in the National League Championship Series, allowing two runs on four hits in 4+1⁄3 innings, while striking out eight batters. In Game 2 of the 2024 World Series against the New York Yankees, Yamamoto pitched 6+1⁄3 innings, allowing just one run on one hit (a solo home run by Juan Soto).
Yamamoto is looking stronger in this postseason after returning from an arm injury in September. It helped that his offense immediately gave him the lead back after the Soto home run as first baseman Freddie Freeman incurred multiple standing ovations — both before homering in the third inning of Game 2 and in response to his Game 1 winner.
“The scene, very concerning,” Roberts said. “Obviously when you get any one of your players that goes down, it’s concerning. But after the range of motion, the strength test, I felt much better about it.”
Ohtani had all of Dodger Stadium holding its collective breath when he left in the seventh inning after appearing to sustain a shoulder injury during a stolen-base attempt. Ohtani rolled around on the ground while grabbing his left arm before heading to the clubhouse.
Yamamoto opened the festivities with aplomb, setting down Aaron Judge on strikes in a hectic but captivating first inning. Things got a bit hairy after the 26-year old sidewinder saw a third-inning fastball leave the park courtesy of Juan Soto.
