He tossed 4 2/3 innings of two-run ball in each of his first two outings this October, taking no-decisions against the Royals and Guardians. The Yankees are up against it now. Only 15 teams in 92 tries have won a best-of-seven postseason series in which they dropped the first two games. And so, as their Game 3 starter Clarke Schmidt takes the ball opposite the Dodgers’ Walker Buehler, they’re going to need to feed off the energy of a hungry crowd that hasn’t seen a World Series home game in the Bronx since the Yanks’ 2009 title run.
After back-to-back upset losses to division rivals in the postseason in 2022 and 2023, the Dodgers looked to reshape their roster. In the off-season, they signed superstar two-way player Shohei Ohtani to a record $700 million, 10 year contract. Other big additions were signing outfielder Teoscar Hernández and pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto (from Japan through the posting system) and trading for starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow. During the regular season, the Dodgers were not quite as dominant as previous years due to various pitching injuries, a two-month hand injury to Mookie Betts, and a three-month abdominal injury to Max Muncy, failing to win 100 games for the first time in a full season since 2018. However, they still achieved the best win-loss record in the majors that year and won the National League West. They qualified for the postseason for the 12th consecutive season, dating back to 2013, the third-longest streak in MLB history.
“No one’s done what we’re trying to accomplish ,” said catcher Austin Wells, “so I think if you put too much pressure on it at this point, you’re going to fail yourself, and you’re not going to enjoy the journey. I think seeing what happens and having fun is where we’re at.”

You can make a few story choices throughout the main story which shapes how the narrative unfolds which is pretty cool, but I didn’t find myself sitting there pondering what if supported these bad guys instead of those bad guys.
On top of that, far too many stealth missions involve a “don’t get caught” or “don’t let the alarm get raised” fail state that, due to your lack of tools, is annoyingly easy to trip by accident. Add to that the game’s restrictions on quicksaving — you can’t save during a mission, and must rely only on checkpoint saves, which are somewhat erratic — and you get a recipe for deep frustration that led me to turn the game off as I muttered “I will do this later” more than once.

The bunt landed directly in front of home plate and catcher Gedman saw he had a play at second and threw there to try and get the lead runner. His throw was high, however, and pulled shortstop Owen off the base long enough for Knight to slide in safely. Owen, Barrett, and McNamara argued that second base umpire Jim Evans made the wrong call, with McNamara saying he could not have seen Owen’s foot land back on the bag, but television replays showed that Knight’s hand touched just before Owen got his foot back down.
Those that want to be close to the stadium should purchase tags within the Stadium Way loop. General Parking costs at least $100, but passes are going quick. Lots A-P are the most expensive options out there but are also the lots closest to Dodger Stadium. Those parking passes start at $230.
