Thanks to its massive supply, a SHIB price of $0.01 would put its valuation, or market capitalization, at $10 trillion, close to that of gold. A price of $1.00 would give it a market cap of $1 quadrillion netent live common draw blackjack.
Ordinarily, a meme coin offers owners little to no utility compared with more established cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and ether. In the case of shiba inu coin, however, there seems to be a legitimate attempt by the development team to provide more value to SHIB holders, including launching a decentralized exchange, ShibaSwap, which we’ll explain more later in the article.
In January 2023, the Shiba Inu community leadership introduced Shibarium, a layer two blockchain designed to run on top of Ethereum. This update was released to reduce congestion, introduce staking into the ecosystem, lower gas fees, and provide a framework for decentralized applications and Web 3 expansion.

It is inspired by the Shiba Inu, a Japanese dog breed, which also serves as the mascot for Dogecoin, another cryptocurrency with meme origins. SHIB is an ERC-20 token, meaning it runs on the Ethereum blockchain. It has a total supply of 589.59T SHIB, which is also it’s current circulating supply.
Notably, the desire to provide more utility to users has seen the self-proclaimed “doge killer” become the second-most popular meme coin in the market. And although the market capitalization of dogecoin is still nearly twice that of shiba inu as of January, 2023, the underdog project has managed to create and build up a large community and narrow the gap between itself and DOGE.

A cryptocurrency is just like a digital form of cash. You can use it to pay friends for your share of the bar tab, buy that new pair of socks you’ve been eyeing up 👀, or book flights ✈️ and hotels 🏨 for your next holiday. Because cryptocurrency is digital, it can also be sent to friends and family anywhere in the world.
Litecoin (LTC) was launched in 2011 by Charles Lee. Like Bitcoin, Litecoin employs the proof-of-work consensus mechanism. Though Litecoin is both faster and cheaper than Bitcoin, it has not been as widely adopted as Bitcoin and therefore has less value.
Bitcoin was initially developed primarily to be a form of payment that isn’t controlled or distributed by a central bank. While financial institutions have traditionally been necessary to verify that a payment has been processed successfully, Bitcoin accomplishes this securely, without that central authority.
