Arma 3’s version of World War 3 is set in the 2030s, with two fictional Mediterranean islands and plenty of made-up key players at the centre of the conflict (though the real-life organisation of NATO also plays a role). This is a game that has become synonymous with the best tactical shooters thanks to its exceptional level of detail.
Conflict of Nations: World War 3 does have the trappings of a mobile game, namely in-game currency, paid-for-content, and an element of grind. However, it can also be addictively fun, so for a free game, it’s one for fans of strategy games to watch.
“Unlike games which take place in arbitrary fictional worlds, Conflict of Nations – World War 3 occurs right here on Earth.”9.3 – MMO Games“Excellent real world diplomacy with real world players, balanced tech tree, massive real world map.”7.5 – MMO Reviews“The politics and diplomacy of the game is what stands this title out, beyond whatever mechanics the developers put in place, it is the negotiations between players that breath so much life into the title.”7.5 – F2P.com
World series game
The Dodgers won Game 1 on the strength of Freeman’s Kirk Gibson-style walk-off grand slam in the 10th inning, but they took a commanding 3-1 series lead thanks to, surprisingly, their starting pitching. Jack Flaherty, Yamamoto and Buehler combined to allow three runs in 16⅔ innings, obliterating the Yankees’ biggest advantage.
Top of the third: Yankees pitcher Gerrit Cole struck out Tommy Edman. Will Smith popped out. Cole walked Gavin Lux before Shohei Ohtani flied out to left field to cap the frame. The Dodgers are hitless after three innings.
Before the start of Game 5 on Wednesday night, with the Dodgers just one win from a championship holding a three-games-to-one lead in the Fall Classic, much of the pregame conversation revolved around the two Yankees fans who interfered — to put it mildly — with Mookie Betts’ first-inning catch in foul territory in right field.

8:25 p.m. — Rizzo strikes out after going down into a 3-2 hole, bringing Los Angeles back out to start the second. It’s a brilliant first inning for New York, which needed a morale boost after starting the series in a 3-0 deficit.
Mookie Betts reached safely on a grounder to first after Cole failed to cover the bag, allowing Kike Hernandez to score. With the bases loaded, Freeman then hit a two-run single to cut the Dodgers’ deficit to 5-3. Teoscar Hernandez followed with a game-tying double to deep center to cap a five-run inning for the Dodgers.
Following a historic performance with four home runs in the final series, Freddie Freeman was named the decisive series MVP. Not only was he dealing with a lingering ankle issue sustained in the team’s final regular-season series against San Diego, he is coming off a year in which his son Max was diagnosed with a rare condition called Gullian-Barre syndrome.

The Yankees only have two baserunners through the first three innings, and both times it’s been Gleyber Torres working a walk. He was stranded in the first inning and now he’s stranded again in the third inning after Juan Soto grounded out to first base.
• As noted above, there has not been a sweep in 11 consecutive World Series, with the last sweep coming by the Giants in the 2012 World Series over the Tigers. Eleven consecutive World Series without a sweep is the second-longest such stretch in World Series history, behind a 12-year streak from 1977-1988.
Freeman has now homered in three straight games for the Dodgers and has four extra-base hits in the World Series after not hitting one in the other playoff games. In fact, Freeman has tied an MLB record with a home run in five straight World Series games going back to 2021.
The health of Shohei Ohtani’s shoulder was the biggest story coming into today. The shoulder popped out on a slide in Game 2 and despite the broadcast crew tonight letting us know that Ohtani was a swimmer growing up and has flexible shoulders, there was some concern that his swing would be impacted. He didn’t have to swing at all in his first at-bat, drawing a four-pitch walk, but Ohtani took two healthy hacks in his second at-bat, grounding out to second base. He may be swinging through pain, but it looks like he can actually swing the bat tonight.
“He texted the whole team as we were on our way to the airport and said he was going to be fine he was going to play,” third baseman Max Muncy said. “So we all put it to the side at that moment. We said, ‘Alright, he’s got us.’ We’ll be ready for him to be in the lineup.”
