Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World is really enjoyable, even if at times it can be really frustrating. The music is incredible and it has an amazing style unlike anything else out there. If only it had online co-op. But it doesn’t. And so, while really cool, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World is far from perfect.
When I was thirteen, I tried to play the guitar. I wasn’t good at it right away, and I found that unfair, frustrating, and knew getting even a little bit better was going to take a lot of time, effort, and callused fingers. Playing Scott Pilgrim vs The World is a lot like playing the guitar.

Nintendo’s magnificent Switch launch game changed how many saw open-world experiences. Vast in size, deeply systemic, with a completely freeform approach to exploration, combat and puzzles.
