Using your equipment over time has the knock-on effect of wearing it down until it is completely unusable. Each time you die, you also take a massive hit on durability for every piece of equipment in your inventory, whether or not it is equipped for your character. In order to fix these damages, you can repair your equipment from any location given that you have enough Repair Parts and Coins. If you’re missing the necessary Repair Parts, you can generate new ones by salvaging unneeded gear down to its base parts by pressing Alt + S on the piece of equipment you’d like to salvage in your inventory.
