When is game 1 of the world series
Back in 1988, the Dodgers rode that famous Kirk Gibson walk-off in Game 1 to a convincing 6-0 victory in Game 2, en route to a five-game Series win – still their most recent in a full season. https://kfastpitch.com/ Will history repeat itself, or will the Yankees respond?
• The Dodgers and Yankees had a World Series preview June 7-9 at Yankee Stadium, with Los Angeles winning two of the three games. Teoscar Hernández had a go-ahead, two-run double in the 11th inning of the first game, a 2-1 Dodgers win, then hit two homers in an 11-3 rout the next night. The Yanks salvaged the finale with a 6-4 win, powered by Trent Grisham’s three-run homer off Tyler Glasnow.
Kiké Hernández will be also in the lineup, presumably at second base in place of the lefty-batting Gavin Lux, with Tommy Edman kicking back out to center field. Though a lot of the focus will be on the heart of the lineups for both teams. Rodón on Friday was asked about facing Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freeman, et al.
Biggest game in the world
Arthur Morgan and Dutch Van der Linde are certainly not the fattest gunslingers in the Wild West, but Red Dead Redemption 2’s installation folder would have you believe that. At 150 GB, it easily makes the cut for one of the biggest games in history regarding install size.
From the minds behind Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, Metaphor: ReFantazio is a medieval JRPG that blends visual novel segments, dungeon crawling, and social simulation. When the king is assassinated, the kingdom of Euchronia holds a Royal Tournament to find the next ruler. It’s up to you to raise an army, fight your way to the top, and earn your spot on the throne.
Final Fantasy 15 is a JRPG focusing on Prince Noctis and his friends taking back his kingdom and discovering the truth behind tragic events. With all the DLC, the game is around 110 GB. It makes sense when you consider that the graphics are realistic and detailed, and it’s an open-world game with lots of content.

World series game 2024 4
Getting the ball first for the Yankees in Game 4 will be Luis Gil, who’s made just one appearance this October. Gil, who sported a 3.50 ERA across 29 regular-season starts, started against the Cleveland Guardians in Game 4 of the ALCS where he gave up two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three. The 26-year-old right-hander pitched 5.2 innings in a June start against the Dodgers, giving up three runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five.
After back-to-back upset losses to division rivals in the postseason in 2022 and 2023, the Dodgers looked to reshape their roster. In the off-season, they signed superstar two-way player Shohei Ohtani to a record $700 million, 10 year contract. Other big additions were signing outfielder Teoscar Hernández and pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto (from Japan through the posting system) and trading for starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow. During the regular season, the Dodgers were not quite as dominant as previous years due to various pitching injuries, a two-month hand injury to Mookie Betts, and a three-month abdominal injury to Max Muncy, failing to win 100 games for the first time in a full season since 2018. However, they still achieved the best win-loss record in the majors that year and won the National League West. They qualified for the postseason for the 12th consecutive season, dating back to 2013, the third-longest streak in MLB history.
In the top of the ninth, Michael Kopech was sent in by Roberts to close out the ninth inning. He got the first two batters he faced to ground out but then gave up a hit to Torres that was caught at the wall by a fan. Instead of a home run, he was awarded second base on a fan interference call, and the game remained tied at 2–2. After a review, the call was upheld. After intentionally walking Juan Soto, Kopech was removed from the game and replaced by Blake Treinen, who got Aaron Judge to pop out, ending the inning. Yankees closer Luke Weaver pitched a perfect inning in the bottom of the ninth, sending the game into extra innings. In the top of the tenth, Treinen gave up a one-out single to Jazz Chisholm Jr. who then stole second base. Anthony Rizzo was intentionally walked, and Chisholm Jr. stole third. The next batter, Anthony Volpe, hit an RBI force-out that was bobbled by Tommy Edman, allowing Chisholm Jr. to score the go-ahead run, giving the Yankees a 3–2 lead.
