World hard game
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is a retro-style 4-player side-scrolling beat-’em’up loosely based on the graphic novels by Bryan Lee O’Malley. It is a throwback to 8- and 16-bit era beat-’em-ups, particularly River City Ransom, and features art by popular pixel animator Paul Robertson as well as a soundtrack by New York chiptune band Anamanaguchi https://comic-play-online.com/.
The GoodScott Pilgrim was a surprise to me. After watching the movie and getting a feel for what the character and world was about, I knew that there were a lot of video game references in the movie, but how would that translate to a game?

Game 1 world series
In keeping with the theme of their season, the Braves got huge home runs in Game 1 from two of the outfielders acquired in the mad Trade Deadline dash to replace the lost production of injured star Ronald Acuña Jr., with Jorge Soler becoming the first player to hit a true leadoff home run in the World Series and with Adam Duvall launching a two-run shot to the Crawford Boxes in left in the third inning.
Cortes made sense as lefty counter to the left-handed hitters in Freeman and Ohtani. As a starter, Cortes held lefty batters to a .530 OPS in the regular season. Ohtani was 2-for-12 against him in his career.
Flaherty matched zeros with Cole for the first half of the night. He was almost perfect until leaving a curveball spinning somewhere in the vicinity of Giancarlo Stanton, who launched it into orbit. Flaherty’s line: 5 1/3 innings, 5 hits, 2 runs, 1 walk, 6 strikeouts, 90 pitches. That’ll do. He was sharp. He had a great plan for Aaron Judge.

Aaron Judge went 1 for 5 with three strikeouts in Game 1 and is hitting .167/.304/.361 in the postseason. He has largely been a non-factor. Stanton and Soto have carried the offense through 10 games for the Yankees. Stanton hit another big home run in Game 1, though the bullpen could not make it stand up.
World game
A man in a blue jumpsuit walks through a ghost town, there’s no trace of life in there, only the occasional crack of rotten doorframes giving way after hundreds of years, and the heartbreaking sound of a baby soothing wheel spinning aimlessly over an empty crib: nothing but dust remains of its former occupant.
Worldle is a game inspired by the popular Wordle game, only it tests your knowledge of geography. The rules of the game are similar to Wordle, but there are some differences: You have an unlimited number of guesses and you only have the distance / direction of the mystery country in the clues. This game is great for kids as an assistant in school or college, as well as for adults to remember the maps of countries around the world.
