World series one game
It is amazing to see how the Phillies came back into this game. They never got flustered, even when they were five runs down. They simply kept chipping away, hanging around and turning the game around.< who has the most expensive concert tickets /p>
While it promises to be a close contest, the edge would have to go to Houston, with the history and experience, not to mention a shoe-in Hall of Famer as a manager, they should be able to steady the ship and sail it to a win.

When is the next game world series
The Dodgers’ loss to the Mets on Friday in Game 5 of the National League Championship Series in New York shifted the series to Los Angeles for Game 6 on Sunday. It also means the World Series this year will start on Friday, October 25.
“I feel great, I feel great,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. “It’s about the guys that you have available. They’re all rested. So we have guys that can do up/down. So where we’re at , knowing there’s an off-day , we’re in a great spot with leverage relievers.”
The Yankees avoided becoming the first team to get swept in the World Series since the 2012 Tigers and the first Yanks team to do so since 1976. They have forced a Game 5 on Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium — a game that has proven a pickle for some past clubs that lost the first three games of a postseason series but, in this case, is a big, big deal for a team able to trot out a pitcher of Cole’s ilk.
How will the bullpens line up after the starter?Dodgers: After using Ben Casparius and Landon Knack for the majority of Game 4, the Dodgers are now in position to use just about everyone in the bullpen on Wednesday night. Blake Treinen hasn’t pitched in a couple of days now and will be available for two innings. Outside of Daniel Hudson, who struggled in Game 4, the Dodgers should have plenty of coverage.
But what happened 20 years ago forever remains a reminder that a 3-0 series can still be salvaged for the trailing team. For the Yankees to pull that off, their lumbering lineup, which is batting .186 as a team in this World Series, is going to have to get it going in a game in which the Dodgers will be going the all-reliever route.
Thankfully, the four teams fighting for their respective pennants set the bar impossibly high with two of the most exciting series yet. The Mets and Dodgers duked it out for the National League title while the Yankees and Guardians did the same for the American, and it’s safe to say both matchups delivered.

Now, the series comes down to Game 4 when the Yankees will have their backs against the wall with rookie starter Luis Gil on the mound. The Dodgers, in firm control of the series, will have a bullpen game, with an opportunity to sweep their way into history.
Aaron Judge, the American League MVP favorite, still hasn’t found his swing. After going hitless in three at bats on Monday, Judge has only one hit in 12 at-bats against Los Angeles, a .083 batting average.
Giancarlo Stanton was the lone Yankees runner on base. Stanton, whom Statcast ranks as the 19th-slowest player in all of baseball, broke toward third. And just as Dodgers left fielder Teoscar Hernández gathered the ball, Stanton stepped on third with Yankees coach Luis Rojas waving him home.
Anthony Volpe delivered the biggest hit for the Yankees this entire series: a grand slam that erased the lead the Dodgers got when Freddie Freeman notched a home run in a record-setting sixth straight World Series game.
Freddie Freeman, the hobbled first baseman who conjured memories of Kirk Gibson when he ended Game 1 in heroic fashion with a walk-off grand slam, then helped ensure the Dodgers took Game 2 with a solo shot, immediately took the life out of a crowd of 49,368 fans who were buzzing before the Yankees’ first home game in nearly two weeks by going deep again.
